John Fowler brings over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, with a reputation for no-nonsense leadership. He’s the type of leader who cuts through the noise, focusing on what really matters—results.

Most recently, he served as President and COO of Piramal Pharma Solutions. John’s approachable style and strategic thinking helped drive success across various business units at Johnson Matthey. He’s a proud US Air Force Veteran, with a Chemical Engineering degree from Bucknell University and an MBA from St. Joseph University.

Gerard Fleury is back at Pii as CFO, bringing his unmatched attention to detail and strategic mindset. Having previously served in this role from 2017-2018, Gerard’s experience spans over 30 years in CFO, COO, and CEO roles across biotech, biopharma, healthcare, and more.

Known for his precision, he’s led companies through every phase of growth and optimization. Gerard’s impressive track record includes managing international expansions, securing major financing deals, and driving successful acquisitions. He holds a B.S. in Business from Towson University.

Travis Webb brings over 17 years of expertise in analytical and formulation contract development across diverse dosage forms, including injectables, pulmonary, oral, and topical drug products.

With a knack for scientific precision and a sense of humor that keeps the team grounded, Travis has developed 20+ approved drug products and supported numerous INDs through clinical stages. He holds an M.S. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Florida and a B.S. in Biochemistry from Troy University.

 Bob Munday, Pii's Chief Commercial Officer, brings unmatched integrity and a client-first approach to every aspect of his work. With a proven track record in driving operational excellence and delivering robust customer service, Bob ensures seamless coordination between Business Development, Project Management, and R&D.

His leadership in commercial growth and transformational change has helped multiple facilities achieve operational success and exceed customer expectations. Before joining Pii, Bob led global operations at Piramal Pharma Solutions and AGC Biologics, transforming businesses into integrated solutions.

Mitchell Tse brings over 30 years of experience in biopharmaceuticals and medical devices to Pii, with a no-nonsense approach to quality. He's led QA operations across the USA, Germany, and China, and knows the ropes when it comes to regulatory inspections.

Mitch is all about precision—whether overseeing aseptic filling or guiding filings for INDs, NDAs, and BLAs, he gets it done with unmatched expertise. Prior to Pii, Mitch worked at Bayer, Baxter, CSBio, and WuXi Biologics. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from UC Berkeley. When he's not raising standards, he's raising his family or competing in a game of D&D (soon, hopefully).

Devan Patel’s tenure at Pii since 2012 reflects his deep commitment to client-centric excellence. As Vice President of Client Services, he leads Pii’s Business Operations, drawing on his years of experience in Project Management.

Devan’s ability to seamlessly manage complex projects and ensure superior customer satisfaction has solidified Pii’s reputation for client-focused solutions. His extensive tenure and collaborative style foster long-lasting relationships and ensure that client needs are met with precision and dedication at every stage of the process.

Brad Carmical brings 32 years of diverse pharmaceutical experience to Pii, with expertise spanning drug discovery, API, drug product, supply chain, clinical trial supplies, and regulatory.

A graduate of The University of Texas at Dallas in Molecular Biology & Organic Chemistry, Brad’s ability to solve complex problems is matched only by his sharp wit and sense of humor. Outside of work, Brad enjoys golfing and boating in the beautiful Texas Hill Country.

Melissa Lincoln-Kemp is a key figure in Pii’s business development team, bringing over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. From starting as a Stability Specialist to holding senior roles at Avista, Catalent, and Bora Pharmaceuticals, she has built a deep understanding of client needs.

As Director of Business Development, Melissa focuses on driving growth and building impactful partnerships. Her expertise in phase-appropriate solutions and client success, combined with her wit and leadership, makes her an indispensable asset to Pii.

Rachel Kulkarni brings over 18 years of marketing expertise, specializing in go-to-market strategies that drive transformational growth. As Pii’s Director of Growth Marketing, she excels at creating impactful, client-focused campaigns.

Her experience spans both start-ups and Fortune 500 companies, with a notable leadership role at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where she managed global marketing for biologics, sterile drug products, and commercial packaging. Known for her client-centric approach, Rachel earned her MBA in Brand and Product Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Bryan Braxton, Ph.D., brings over 30 years of expertise in sterile products and aseptic R&D to Pii. Since joining in 2018 as Senior Director, he has leveraged his extensive background to drive innovation and quality in formulation development, process transfer, and technical services.

Throughout his career, Bryan has held leadership roles at renowned companies, including Unither, AMRI, Pfizer, Abbott, and Glaxo, where he specialized in areas such as Quality by Design, Contract Services, and Project Management. Bryan earned his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Kansas and is a registered pharmacist, blending scientific knowledge with a strong passion for advancing pharmaceutical solutions.

Sam Chia is Pii’s Senior Director of Operations MS&T, bringing 26+ years of experience in aseptic manufacturing and sterile processing. With leadership roles at ImprimisRx, Ben Venue Laboratories, and Cangene Biopharma, Sam’s expertise spans production, optimization, and startup operations for big pharma.

Fluent in English and French, he’s driven by his global experience in operational management across the U.S. and beyond. Sam holds a BS in Chemistry with a Biochemistry minor and is an Associate Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry. His blend of experience and leadership makes him a key player in elevating Pii’s operations to new heights.

Jason Wettengel’s journey at Pii began in 1999 as an oral solid dose technician, where he honed expertise in various dosage forms and advanced through roles such as Operator, Supervisor, and Senior Manager. His leadership has driven success across oral solid dose, softgel, packaging, and visual inspection departments.

With over two decades at Pii, Jason’s deep knowledge, hands-on experience, and commitment to mentoring his team have established him as a pivotal leader in manufacturing excellence, ensuring quality and innovation in every project he oversees.

Dr. Sundeep Sethia leads Pii’s R&D team with unwavering dedication to solving bioavailability and solubility challenges that often hinder drug development. With a PhD from St. John’s University and extensive experience at Novartis, Barr Laboratories, and Teva, Sundeep combines scientific precision with practical application to bring life-changing therapies to market.

His hands-on approach ensures high-quality results, driven by a passion for improving patient outcomes. Outside the lab, he enjoys cooking curry for his family and following cricket, blending his professional rigor with personal joy.

Irina leads Pii’s Analytical R&D team, where she develops and validates chemical test methods critical to scaling drug production. With expertise spanning small and large molecules, Irina has supported the development of treatments for orphan diseases, oncology, and nervous system disorders.

Her leadership transforms development candidates into viable formulations, ensuring life-saving medicines reach patients. Irina earned her Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry from Lomonosov Moscow State University, bringing a deep understanding of both science and strategy to every project.
