As the Chief Commercial Officer, Bob is responsible for the Sales and Marketing function. Bob’s knowledge and experience will be key to significantly grow Pii's business to achieve organizational goals, including the coordination and management of quotations and contracts. Bob is the liaison between the Business Development, Project Management and R&D functions ensuring that Pii’s capabilities will support the customer from initial lead generation through contract signature. In addition, Bob will serve as the liaison from a contractual perspective with the Pii Program Management team to ensure a seamless transition of any newly signed booking to support a robust customer service experience.
Additionally, during his career Bob has led multiple sites to improved operational capabilities through operational excellence implementations and significantly improved customer satisfaction. His strength in transformational change has enabled significant commercial growth at multiple facilities. Bob will share his experiences and knowledge with the leadership team to help the team improve overall efficiency and operations as Pii continuously strives to improve and exceed customer expectations.
Prior to Pii, Bob was responsible for four facilities across three continents as the Executive Vice President Aseptic & Biologics at Piramal Pharma Solutions. Bob oversaw the Lexington KY, USA Aseptic Drug Product facility, Sellersville PA, USA OSD facility, Grangemouth UK, ADC facility, and the Hyderabad India site, Yapan Bio, which specialized in Vaccines and Biologics/Bio-therapeutics. Bob’s functional expertise enabled Piramal to drive synergies in sterile manufacturing and offer integrated solutions supporting sterile fill finish customers. His experience in biologics supported Piramal leveraging potential new business opportunities with integrated customer offerings from mAb through ADC to drug product.
Prior to joining Piramal, Bob led AGC Biologics, formerly CMC Biologics, Bothell site and was responsible for all site activities. During his time at CMC Biologics, the Bothell site transformed from a clinical focus to commercial biologics manufacturer. Bob was also a registered PMP for 16 years and has led capital projects around the globe for multiple organizations. Bob’s educational background is from the US Naval Nuclear Power division.
Devan Patel
Vice President of Client Services
Devan Patel, who joined Pii in 2012, is Vice President of Client Services where oversees Pii’s Business Operations functions. He previously served as Pii’s Senior Director, Project Management since 2012. In that role, Devan played a key role in Pii’s development and commercial programs for orals and injectables. With his leadership, Pii has built a world-class Project Management Organization (PMO) consistently characterized by superb customer experience. Over the years, Devan has used his knowledge and technical skills to play a vital role for the Operations team, managing key initiatives for the Parenteral/Sterile business unit, including managing the overall scheduling and planning of all Aseptic Operations. His collaborative style when working with cross-functional teams across Pii’s business units and ability to anticipate problems before they occur as raised the role of project management to an artform. Devan delivers a positive, outcomes-focused experience for our client-partners, from initial contact through successful completion of each project.
Devan earned his Bachelors in Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics from the University of Maryland and a M.B.A. from Johns Hopkins University.

Brad brings a broad spectrum of pharmaceutical knowledge to Pii. After graduating from The University of Texas at Dallas with a degree in Molecular Biology & Organic Chemistry, Brad spent 32 years learning the full spectrum of pharmaceutical disciplines such as drug discovery, API, drug product, supply chain, clinical trial supplies and regulatory.
Brad lives in New Braunfels, TX with his wife Rebecca and son Hudson where they enjoy golf and boating in the Texas hill country.
Melissa Lincoln-Kemp

Melissa Lincoln Kemp is a vital member of the Pii business development team, leveraging over 20 years of pharmaceutical industry experience. Starting as a Stability Specialist at AAIPharma (now Alcami), she progressed through roles in client services and project management, gaining a comprehensive understanding of client needs. Her tenure at Avista (now Cambrex), Catalent, and Bora Pharmaceuticals enriched her industry knowledge.
Now, as Director of Business Development, Melissa strategically drives growth and forges impactful partnerships. She excels in identifying phase-appropriate solutions, drawing on her unique perspective to ensure client success. Melissa is passionate about fostering collaborative relationships that drive innovation and lasting impact in the pharmaceutical sector. Her journey from hands-on roles to a leadership position exemplifies her dedication, resilience, and continuous growth, making her an invaluable asset to both clients and the Pii team.
Rachel Kulkarni
Director of Growth Marketing
Rachel Kulkarni brings over 18 years of dynamic expertise in go-to-market strategy to her role as Director of Growth Marketing at Pii. With a track record spanning several diverse sectors, Rachel is a proven growth marketer for start-up organizations and Fortune 500 companies alike. In her previous role at Thermo Fisher Scientific, she headed global marketing for biologics, sterile drug products, and commercial packaging under the Patheon brand.
Rachel received her undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Colorado-Boulder and her MBA in Brand and Product Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is known for her purpose-driven and client-centric marketing approach.
